With the launch of Ivy in Canada, more designers can benefit from improved productivity and efficiency in their day-to-day. Are you a designer in Canada? Below is everything you need to know.

Which functionalities are currently available for Ivy Canada?

Ivy members in Canada will be able to enjoy all of the platform’s functionalities except for the QuickBooks Online integration. 

Taxes are different in Canada, will this be customized?

Absolutely, Canadian designers will receive a predefined list of available tax rates in Canada.

The available Canada tax types are as follows:

  • Provincial Sales Tax (PST),
  • Goods and Services Tax (GST)
  • Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)

Will I be able to join the Ivy Facebook community?

Of course! All of our members have the opportunity to join our community upon signing up to Ivy. 

Can my clients pay me online?

Absolutely! Online payments are currently available for designers in Canada. You’ll be able to get paid by either a credit card or ACH. There is a processing fee of 3% for credit card and 1.2% for ACH.

Will QuickBooks Online be available in Canada?

Ivy currently offers QuickBooks Online integration in the US only. We hope to make QBO available to our Canadian designers in the near future.

What if i’m a Canadian member with an existing US account?

Existing Ivy members who are based in Canada have the option of either keeping their account or creating a new one. Since not all of the information will be able to transfer to the new account Ivy will keep the old account live for a limited amount of time. 

Please contact your account manager if you already have an Ivy account and are interested in creating a new one. 

I am located in Canada, will I still be able to get email/phone support?
